I’m looking forward to reading the next one in the series. Overall, this book was brilliant and I would definitely recommend it. It was uncalled for and I seriously hope that she gets her own back and makes them pay. They all have a spark towards her no matter how much they want to hate each other. I enjoyed watching the interactions and development between them all. They just see and believe the worst in her. None of them seem to be able to accept that she didn’t do the things she was made to do willingly. He’s struggling with the past and with who she is now Cain seemed to connect with her darkness because he has his own, but he was also a dick. They seemed far more understanding towards her at times. I think Pax and Remington were my favourites. There was moments when they treated her better and more like an equal. They treat her like a murderer, and yet they aren’t much better, especially Cain.Īnd yet I liked parts of them. Aurora didn’t exactly have a choice when her father made her do the things he did. They have their demons just as much as she does, and yet most of their actions are of their own doing. The boys are great characters, although they are right arseholes. She’s the victim of her fathers actions, and yet she’s being prosecuted for it. Strong, determined, and yet vulnerable, and you can’t help to feel sorry for her. The storyline was great and the characters were fantastic. And just because they have the power, the connections, the faces and bodies of gods… do they really think they’ll win?īut if they insist, we’ll see who ends up playing.
