If I had to pick a second favorite it would be the prequel, The Extraordinary Education of Nicholas Benedict. I enjoyed the whole series, but the first book holds a really special place in my heart. I first read the original Mysterious Benedict Society years ago and have since re-read it at least 4 times, sharing it with my book club, my oldest daughter, and even aloud with my husband. Completely made my day with this gifted Mysterious Benedict Society swag yesterday! I love the attention to detail about the series, including Kate Weatherall's iconic red bucket.
